Deionized Water:
Deionized water, also known as demineralized water, is water purified by a chemical filtration system
that has had its mineral ions such as calcium, sodium, iron, copper, chloride and bromide
removed. Deionized water forms emulsions, which helps the oils and waters in a cream or lotion
combine.  It is extremely purified water for use in skin care products. The water ensures that your skin is
hydrated, clean and functions at its optimum.

Organic Shea (Butyrospermum Parkii) Butter:
Shea (pronounced shay) butter is a natural vegetable fat (plant lipid) that comes from processing
nuts from the shea tree. Shea trees are native to West Africa, and most shea butter still comes
from that region. It is rich in fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamins.  Its buttery texture contains
60% fat, which makes it ideal for penetrating the skin.
 A powerful moisturizer due to shea’s fatty acid content, including linoleic, oleic,
stearic, and palmitic acids

Cocoa (Theobroma Cacao) Butter:
Cocoa Butter is a powerhouse moisturizer which comes from the cocoa bean. A vegetable fat is
extracted via a fermentation process from the beans. This fat is known as the butter. Cocoa
butter is high in vitamin D and is rich in polyphenols (an antioxidant, health-promoting
compound), fatty acids (a combination of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids) and other
nutrients: potassium, phosphorous, copper, iron, zinc, and magnesium.
 The fatty acids contain oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids, all of which nourish and
deeply moisturize the skin

Mango butter (also known mango kernel butter) is a type of fat that comes from the seeds of the
mango and is extracted from the seed by cold pressing it into a creamy butter. It is a natural

Emulsa KLA / Stearic Acid is a vegetable derivative used to stiffen and stabilize lotions and cremes (ie. an
emulsifier). It is a colorless, odorless, waxlike, saturated long-chain fatty acid. Basically, it adds moisture
to products.

benefits for skin. They include oleic acid, vitamin E, sesamol, and linoleic acid.

Grapeseed oil comes from the pressed seeds of grapes. The oil is a by-product of the process of
making wine. It’s known for its, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant properties. It
contains high levels of linoleic acid, which is an omega-6 fatty acid.

Sweet Almond (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis) Oil:
Nearly half of a dried almond’s weight is oil. Ripe almonds are pressed to extract the oil with minimal
heat. There are two types of almond oil: sweet and bitter. Sweet Almond Oil is best suited for the skin.
Almond oil is full of vitamin E, and it’s a great source of magnesium, phosphorus, and copper. The
antioxidant-rich oil is known for its free radical fighting abilities. It’s also anti-inflammatory and boosts
immunity.
